This youtube clip is what Renee was talking about when she told us she was able to go back to visit and was able to meet with Dr. Hans Munch (the doctor who performed experiments on Jews during the Holocaust, specifically Renee's younger sister. Renee's sister was shot and killed at age 14 after the experiments were performed.)
Thank you all so much for posting the amazing clips about Renee's life. She sounds like an amazing and courageous woman, whom I'm sure you feel very lucky to have gotten to meet.
Thank you for the clips. Rene Firestone has an amazing story and I am so glad that she decided to share it all this time. I remember talking to Lily about the dream Rene had and how it motivated her to speak about her experience. She is an amazing woman with a great story. Thanks for telling her story and contributing to the experience of this class. -Tiffany
